Thanks to my awesome sister for getting screening tickets to see Michel Gondry’s new film “Be Kind Rewind”. I saw it two nights ago, and I’m still thinking about it. It’s nice and kinda sad at the same time that, it’s been so long since I’ve seen a film where the story and not just the visuals that capitvated and inspired me and it really is quite refreshing to see a visually inspiring film done pretty much with lo-fi effects.
Now it is odd for me to say this since I do do this for a living, but as an audience I’m definitely tired of seeing movies relying heavily on CG elements to make it visually interesting.
