Dude I wanted to do that when I was leaving NYC. But their lugage limitation put a stop to that idea. Maybe I’ll book one for my next trip back.

I’ve always wanted to take a helicopter ride over New York, but I never really had the excuse (until now). As it turns out, taking a helicopter to the airport costs the same as the similar-length ride with a tour operator. If you’re flying out on Delta, which I happen to be doing on July 11th because JetBlue doesn’t fly to Detroit, there’s the added benefit of doing TSA screening at the heliport and bypassing JFK security completely. I couldn’t resist trying this once, especially for $165.
